I am Telstra customer. Why can't I use SMS functionality with my Iridium phone?
Unfortunately, Telstra customers cannot use the Iridium website to send messages to satellite phones with Telstra MSISDNs, as our messaging external box only supports 8816 and 8817 country codes. We recommend using Telstra's web-based SMS tool, which routes messages to Telstra's SMSC within the Telstra network.
